Budapest
“Budapest is one of Europe’s most stunning capitals, with the Danube splitting it into the historic hills of Buda and the vibrant streets of Pest. I recommend starting your day at the iconic Parliament building, then cross the Chain Bridge to explore Buda Castle and Fisherman’s Bastion, where the views of the river are unbeatable. In the afternoon, take some time to relax in one of the city’s famous thermal baths. I suggest Széchenyi, a classic favorite. For a touch of luxury, the Four Seasons Gresham Palace on the riverfront is hard to beat.“

Eger
“Just a short journey from Budapest, Eger is a town full of baroque charm, a fascinating castle, and some of Hungary’s most famous wines. Start with a visit to the impressive Eger Cathedral, then take a leisurely walk through Dobó Square. After that, a trip to the “Valley of the Beautiful Women” to sample the region’s renowned red wines, including the legendary Egri Bikavér, or “Bull’s Blood.” I highly suggest Eger as an unforgettable day trip, and for those staying overnight, the Hotel Palota in nearby Lillafüred offers a luxurious retreat surrounded by nature.”

Pécs
“Pécs, in southern Hungary, is a cultural treasure with a warm, Mediterranean vibe. Start by exploring the UNESCO-listed Early Christian Necropolis and the stunning Pécs Cathedral. Then, take a stroll through the Zsolnay Quarter to see Hungary’s renowned ceramics up close. The city’s vibrant café scene and creative energy make it a truly inspiring place to visit. I recommend staying overnight to fully enjoy its charm, and the stylish Corso Hotel in the city center is a wonderful luxury base.”
